Dick’s Sporting Goods begin 250,000 Concept Tag trial period
Dick’s Sporting Goods — one of the USA’s largest sporting goods retailer with over 850 stores — has begun a year-long test of the revolutionary Concept Tag garment security system.
The trial will see 250,000 Concept Tags placed in ten of their stores, along with 80 Concept Detachers.
Phillip Stein, Vice President of Sales (Americas) for Agon Systems, said: “Since starting work on developing the market for the Concept Tag in the USA, Dick’s Sporting Goods has been one of the top retail names on the list. I am delighted that they have agreed to this trial and look forward to seeing how the Concept Tag fares in their stores over the next twelve months.”
Should the Concept Tag be picked up by Dick’s Sporting Goods across the entire estate of stores, it is estimated that over 25 million tags will be installed as part of a full chain conversion rollout.
